2. Embedded Software Engineer - WLAN (All levels)

Skills/Experience . Looking for 3 to 12 years of industry experience in real time embedded telecom systems.
. The candidate must be proficient in C
. Good analytic and problem solving skills.
. Good understanding of real time operating systems concepts, data structures and software development lifecycle.
. Knowledge and good experience in 802.11 wireless protocols
. Embedded programming in C
. MAC protocols implementation is a plus (preferably wireless MAC)
. Familiarity with data and signaling concepts such as encapsulation, fragmentation, sequencing, ARQ, etc, related to MAC is a plus
. Knowledge with all aspects of software development and product lifecycle

Responsibilities . Prior experience working on cellular handsets a plus.
. Experience with JTAG debuggers is a plus.
. Experience with ARM family processors is a plus.

3. Embedded Software Engineer – RF

Skills/Experience The position requires strong C programming skills with an understanding of RF and Communications systems. The candidate should have the knowledge of digital communications and RF theory. An understanding of embedded real time systems is desired. Experience in CDMA, UMTS or GSM wireless systems is a plus. Must have good communication skills and be a team player.

4. Embedded Software Engineer(Femto Cells)
Skills/Experience 3-4 years of experience in embedded software development required.
C programming experience required. Knowledge of C++ or object oriented programming is a plus.
Strong debugging and problem solving skills required.
Understanding of fundamentals of wireless protocols required.
UMTS stack development experience is preferred.
Knowledge of communications theory and/or an understanding of PHY/MAC is a plus.
Good team work and interpersonal skills are required.
Responsibilities The candidate will play a key role in the design and development of software for QUALCOMM's Femto Station Modem (FSM) systems. Responsibilities cover requirement analysis at protocol/software level, software design and development covering various aspects of base-station implementation on embedded processors. The software development responsibilities include L1/L2 as well as some platform/application software required for base-station functionality.

5. Senior Manager, Govt Affairs (Wireless Reach)
Responsibilities The primary responsibilities for this position include managing multiple Wireless Reach Projects being carried out in India and other countries in the region including Sri Lanka and Nepal. The individual in this role will be have close engagements with project partners including NGOs, Universities, Wireless Operators, Govt officials and other Private Sector companies.

This position will report to Vice President - Govt Affairs responsible for Qualcomm's global wireless reach initiative. The role could be based at Mumbai or New Delhi and will require domestic and international travel. Education Requirements Ideal candidate will be an MBA/ equivalent with 12-15 years relevant experience
