We have an opening at Oracle India's Bangalore location for test development of Oracle products.

We need people with good RDBMS fundamentals and to be familiar with storage product concepts.

Who do we need?
---------------
= B.E/M.E/M.Tech. in Computer Science / MCA from a reputed university
= 1 to 5 years of industry experience
= Must be good in relational database fundamentals, any experience with storage products is highly desirable
= Must have worked with one or more of the commercial relational databases.
= Must have experience in programming using any of the mainstream languages.

Description about the group

'Database test development' group (part of the database server group of Server Technologies Division) works on the upcoming releases of Oracle database server, enveloping a wide range of technologies that include (but not limited to) RDBMS, XML, Real Application Clusters (RAC), Security, Replication/Streams, Queuing, Storage Management, Backup/Recovery, Query Optimization, Transaction Management, Performance Tuning and High Availability.

The group with its state of the art development infrastructure and practices, helps shape technology that has been important for a large number of Fortune 2000 and other companies.

The group foresees product usage scenarios, simulates real life problems, tests the forthcoming releases of Oracle database server and ensures that the customers get the highest quality database.
