We are conducting walk-ins and we need your help to get the best into HCL! If you know people with the following skill sets, please share the detailed requirements for the roles in question and event-related information with them and ask them to participate in the event by quoting your employee number. Required Skills Expertise in Total relevant experience (in years)     User Interface Designer Experience developing Paper Prototypes/Wireframes/Online Prototypes (Fully functional) Create visual designs that address business, brand, market, and user requirements - including the design and production of screen layouts, color palettes, typography, user interface elements Must have solid grasp of graphic and web design principles and good understanding of current web technologies Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML, XHTML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, Web 2.0, W3C standards Knowledge of different browsers and CSS rendering (IE 6, IE 7, IE 8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari), Knowledge of display devices and CSS rendering, Standard compliant codes and coding structures, Validate XHTML/CSS, Usability Processes and Accessibility         4-6 yrs   Senior / Lead Interaction Designer Senior Tech Lead - Interaction Design The position requires to lead and collaborate with a team of Interaction designers and UI designers to produce superior user interfaces Technical management of all stages of the User Experience Design (UxD) process Well versed with estimation techniques for UCD activities Well versed with User Centered Design (UCD) methodology Thorough understanding and  implementation of various UCD activities Creating and maintaining UI Bug loggers, Accessibility testing tools, UI Templating, working with client's Style-guide specifications. Sound know-how on HTML, HTML 5, CSS2.0, DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript Tools for analysis of web logs, User observation, User analysis etc         4-10 years For all the requirements mentioned above, the work location is Chennai. We will be conducting this walk-in for all positions at Chennai on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 10 am to 2:00 p.m.   Interview Venue: HCL Technologies Ltd, 34-35, Haddows Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600 034 Candidates must carry a copy of their updated resume, last two months' salary slip and one (1) passport size photo.
