Role:

Execute consulting assignments – team based as well as individual assignments

Strengthen offerings – development of collateral, methodology refinements, best practices updates and trends tracking, preparation of points of view / articles

Business development- identify target clients working jointly with delivery and Sales arms of TCS, pre sales work ( presentations to clients, RFI/RFP preparations) and work closely with GCP sales teams at UK, Europe , Latam, APAC

Internal process management- managing projects, mentoring and grooming other consultants in the group, business planning for GCP FS, impart training

Experience Profile:

·         7- 8 years Experience ( International and Indian) in capital market institutions / domains  in the area of operations and management of business services / products of capital market players

o   Experience  - pure play consulting, solution design, business analysis, project implementation,  business process mapping

o   Product experience –  (Murex, Summit, Calypso, Asset Control, Charles River, EaglePace etc)

o   Asset classes- Fixed income including forex , derivatives, equities

Type of Organizations currently working in

·         Large broking firms , BA Captives of MNCs like  Morgan , Goldman Sachs, Product organizations ( Temenos), Accenture, Capgemini, Other IT  - Cognizant, Infosys

o   Managing the equity / derivatives trading business of a large broking firm

o   Managing custody operations for a large custodian encompassing institutional and retail clients

o   Portfolio management / funds management for a mutual fund AMC, insurance companies

o   Back office operations of a mutual fund/ broking firm/ custodians

o   New products development / operations management  in an exchange , depository , clearing corporation

o   Risk management operations in an exchange, clearing corporation, broking firm, mutual fund

o   Operations of commodity / energy trading entities

o   Experience in IT firms  - consulting for domain areas, project execution for capital market clients with a flair for functional consulting

Knowledge in one or more  areas as follows  

o   Front ( sales , CRM, exchange/ MTF connectivity ) , middle( risk management, confirms, P&L processes) , back office ( reconciliation, security lending, collateral management) functions of Investment banks 

o   Subject areas - reference data, corporate actions, client and accounts management

o   trading, clearing and settlement practices in  US , Europe and APAC

o   corporate actions , collateral management

o    risk management principles and models

o   asset management principles and models pertaining to investments, performance attribution

o   Derivatives( listed, structured, currency) ,  ABS/ MBS, fixed income , forex and equity market products

Other Key requirements:

·         Customer facing and team management experience very essential

·         Business Consulting experience

·         Project Implementation experience -Nice to have

·         International experience

·         Pre-sales experience would be nice to have

·         Analytical bent of mind and excellent communication skills

·         Willingness to travel on short / long term trips both within and outside India as needed to develop and deliver business.

Education:
