SQL Server Developer/Analyst

Our Client is a Major Financial Company Located in Singapore. They are looking for a SQL Server Developer.

"The candidate will report to Technical Manager in Singapore and participate day-to-day development functionality.

Responsibilities include:
- Develop SQL queries and stored procedures
- Optimize SQL queries and apply best practices
- Participate in entire SDLC process
- Perform release management
- Provide production support and maintain existing systems by researching and trouble-shooting any issues/problems
- Document the requirements and technical design as required
- Maintain constant communication with other team members, technical manager and the team in US


WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Essential:
"- 5+ years experience as Developer/Analyst
- 4+ years experience in Microsoft technologies
- 4+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience
- Willing to work in shifts"- Experience in working with offshore development model

TECHINICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Essential:
"- Must have at least 5 years experience as a Developer/Analyst developing commercial and/or business applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in T-SQL stored procedure programming with MS-SQL Server
- Troubleshooting skills is a must
- Must have been involved in design and development of .Net projects
- 4+ years hands on experience on writing SQL.
- Working knowledge of SDLC process
- Ability to design, organize, and implement module, perform system testing, plan and automate tasks to maintain existing system
- Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems

MAJOR PLUS:
Development experience using the following technology: .Net Framework, SQL, C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, CSS, XML/XSL, ASP, VB Script, ADO, and Java Script
- Experience using Team Foundation Server
- Highly motivated team player and always eager to learn new technologies
- Knowledge in Financial Services (Investment Banking, Private Equity, Fund Management) and Accounting"

NOTE: The candidate can come from outside of Singapore but need to be willing to relocate to Singapore for the job.
